We partner with Northumbria University to deliver courses at the London Campus, and Pathway programmes at the City Campus in Newcastle.

Amid the buzz of London’s business and financial district, you’ll find the London Campus, offering industry-focused courses at undergraduate top-up and postgraduate level in subject areas such as Business, Computing, IT and Project Management. Pathway programmes are delivered in Newcastle and enable International students to develop their English language and academic skills on programmes that are specifically tailored to their chosen target subject area, with teaching delivered at the main university campus. All courses at the London Campus, and Pathway programmes delivered in Newcastle, are Northumbria University programmes and are delivered by the University and taught by QA Higher Education staff, approved by the University.

Northumbria University’s London Campus is located within a student hub in the heart of the City of London. The campus itself is a small, friendly place to study and relax. Students are able to catch up on coursework in a quiet environment using the workstations that are provided. The student area also has space for students to socialise and relax between lectures.

Getting to the campus is made easy with the close proximity of Liverpool Street train station, offering both train services to East London and beyond, and the tube with the choice of routes in to East London or the West End. A short walk from the Campus, students can find Spitalfields and Petticoat Markets, often a hive of activity with food from across the world to try or hand crafted items.

Students studying one of the Northumbria University Pathway programmes will be taught at the University’s City Campus in Newcastle, regularly voted one of the top student cities in the UK.

With its award-winning architecture, modern teaching facilities and impressive sports facilities, the Campus creates an environment that encourages self-development and learning. This is where many university activities take place creating a vibrant student atmosphere and where students can find the main library, high-tech labs, Students’ Union, state-of-the-art sports facilities and much more.

The Campus is also conveniently located a short walk from the centre of Newcastle, a city with a reputation for being both one of the friendliest and liveliest cities in the UK. This course will allow you to top up your existing qualifications to an honours degree in one year, while benefiting from all that Northumbria University has to offer. You’ll build on your all-round knowledge of business, adding expertise in accounting and finance as well as transferable professional and managerial techniques.

The course includes specialist modules that cover financial reporting analysis, strategic management accounting, and international financial management. The course provides an excellent foundation for jobs in finance, banking, government, and general business leadership.

If you are interested in a systems development and management career and currently hold a Foundation Degree or HND (Higher National Diploma) or equivalent, the BSc (Hons) Applied Computing (Top-Up) allows you to gain a full undergraduate degree within one year of study.

Throughout the course you will study a wide range of topics, from systems development and strategic systems management, to social and current issues in computing, and professional management and practice.

You will also complete a case project, which will provide you with the opportunity to apply all of your existing skills to a substantial software development problem.
